Yes It's A Holiday Collab with Debra and Lori | National Raspberry Day | Hugs Cards

Hello everyone, and welcome to a new Yes It's A Holiday, or Yes, It Is A Holiday collab with my Instagram buddies - Debra and Lori.  Today, July 8th, we are helping to celebrate National Raspberry Day, a day dedicated to enjoying the sweet-tart fruit and its numerous health benefits, including its high levels of antioxidants, vitamins, and fiber.

Believe it or not, I had no raspberry stamps or papers to use.  Not even a digital image or paper.  So I tried something new...I used an AI to help me design this image of raspberries with a watercolor look.

This is how I made these cards:             

  • I printed two of the raspberry images at 50% on white cardstock.  
  • Using Kraft cardstock, I made two top-folding cards, 5.5" x 4.25", and I distressed the edges with Coffee Archival ink.   
  • Using a 4" x 5.25" stitched rectangle die, I die-cut two pieces of white cardstock for the inside messages.  
  • Using the largest die from the Spellbinders A2 Distressed Edges set (S5-174/retired), I die-cut the two raspberry images, distressed the edges with Coffee Archival ink, adhered a piece of fun foam to the back, and then adhered them to the Kraft card fronts.  
  • Using the Loads of Hugs stamp set from Avery Elle (retired), I stamped the big "hugs" using Onyx Black Versafine ink, had my Scan N Cut cut the words, and adhered them to the white cardstock.  Then I stamped some of the other sentiments, die-cut them with a banner die, and I also die-cut Kraft cardstock to layer them on. 
  • I adhered the white cardstock with the word hugs to the inside of the cards, and I added a sentiment to the front and inside of each card.

BLOG CANDY STENCILS!!! BLOG CANDY STENCILS!!!!!

QKR Stampede Anything Goes Challenge | Slimline Happy Easter Card

  Hello everyone!  It's the 15th of the month and that means that there is a new "Anything Goes" card challenge over on the  QKR Stampede Challenge Blog .   Since Easter is fast approaching I decided to make an Easter card and fell in love with the Happy Easter with Bouquet Digital Stamp .  I knew this would make a beautiful slimline Easter card.   I printed the Happy Easter with Bouquet digital stamp - twice - on a sheet of white cardstock and colored one of them using some GRAF Duo alcohol markers and the Key Lime ultra fine-tip maker from BIC.    Next, I die-cut it using the smaller stitched slimline die from the Slim Stitched Rectangle Die Set from Pink Fresh Studio.
