  Hello everyone.  Today is Friday the 13th.  In October.  Yikes.  But, today is also a new He Made It/She Made It collaboration with my friend Debra of Meticulosity and we decided to post today to bring some light on such a dark day.  haha! This month we decided to use the brand-new Holly and Berries stamp, which is part of the October 2023 New Release from Technique Junkies .    Having already made a card using this stamp, which you can see here , I wanted to do something different and out of the box.  As I was stamping  Holly and Berries on a piece of white cardstock, inspiration struck.  And the idea of either an ornament or a tag, or both popped into my head. Hello everyone.  Thanks so much for all the love after my first "Guest Designer" post last Friday over on Coffee Loving Cardmakers .  It put a smile on my face all weekend!! Hello everyone and Merry Christmas (in July)!! Today is my DT time for Anthony's Paper Craft and it's all about Christmas.  Considering the heatwave taking over most of the USA and other parts of the world, I think many of you wish it was Christmas.  I love to find new ways to use images and today I will show you how to use Tile 4 and Tile 6 to make an ornament for your Christmas tree.   You can actually use any of Anthony's "tile" stamps. For Tile 6 - I started with the image stamped on a piece of white card, along with a piece of designer paper with a light design, a stitched circle die ( Memory Box/30036 ) and the bow and ornament topper from Circle Ornaments (Divinity Designs/CDB45) . Using the stitched circle die, I cut the center of the image and a piece of the designer paper.  I also cut the bow from red cardstock and two of the ornament topper from a piece of gold cardstock. Hello crafty friends and anyone else that is along for the ride.  TGIF!!!  I am back with the team - Debra , Mike and Mary Kay  for Week 4 of the  Anthony's Paper Craft  "Christmas in August" Blog Hop.     So, the other night I was on Pinterest and I saw a "shaker ornament" pop up in my feed.   I don't know why but my mind immediately thought of the " faux string art " stamps that Anthony's Paper Craft sells and my head started spinning with ideas on how to use these images for "shaker ornaments".     I decided to just go with it and see where this takes me and I wrote this post up as I made the ornament.  I hope it turns out the way the idea in my head looks.  LOL  The first  I decided was that I would need a sheet of double sided decorative paper.  I went thru my stash and decided to use "Letters to Santa", which is from Graphic 45's 2009 Christmas Past Collectio...

Hello everyone!  It's getting hot here!  Although our spring starts here this week, it's already feeling like summer.  And, as much as I love the heat, it would be nice to have a bit of spring first.  LOL  Today is Tuesday and that means there is a new challenge on the Stamp Ink Paper Challenge Blog .  This week's Challenge #66 is Anything But A Card  -  And....since the stamps I am using in this project are older than dirt (LOL) I am also entering this into this week's Challenge 47 on the Retro Rubber Challenge Blog , which is "Anything Goes" -  I don't know what part of my brain came up with this project - "upcycling" a roll from packing tape into a 3-D Christmas tree ornament.  The idea is really the fault of my friend Ana Stela who was here one day and saw me throw a roll into the garbage.  She told me I was crazy for not holding on to these for future projects and asked if she could have them.   Well......
