Day 2 - 30 Day Coloring Challenge - Watercolor Flowers
Good morning everyone. Yesterday was the Brasilian holiday of Finados (Day of the Dead), which is s imilar to other Day of the Dead celebrations, people go to cemeteries and churches with flowers and candles and offer prayers. The celebration is intended as a positive honoring of the dead. Since there was not much to do, we went to a BBQ with some friends and relaxed. In the morning I started a card for Day 2 of The 30 Day Coloring Challenge over at The Daily Marker. I've had these whimsical Black Eyed Susans by Art Gone Wild and they were screaming for some watercolor. So I broke out my distress inks and a waterbrush and had some fun. I started by stamping the image on a piece of white cardstock with Jet Black Archival Ink and then heat setting it.
