Hey y'all.  When Kim at KCS Designs by Kim released the Coffeehouse Canines Clip Art  in her KCS Designs by Kim Etsy store , I knew it would work perfectly with the Cute European Shops in her KCS Designs Ko-Fi Shop , and I had to get this card out of my head.  The kits in her Ko-Fi Shop are free.  Just so y'all know.  I printed the coffeehouse in the Cute European Shops - twice.  I fussy-cut one of the images in full and, from the 2nd image, I only fussy-cut the awnings, front door, sign, and plant.     I printed and fussy-cut the chihuahua from Coffeehouse Canines Clip Art.   I adhered the awning, door, sign, and plant using foam squares.    I made a 5" square top-folding card using green cardstock that best blended with the green in the awnings.   I cut a 5"x 5" piece of white cardstock, embossed it with the Cross Weaves 3D embossing folder from Altenew, adhered a piece of white fun foam to the back, then to ...

Hello everyone.  I'm thrilled to announce that I am the Guest Designer on the Coffee Loving Papercrafters Blog  each Friday in the month of February, 2026.  Each week, I will be posting a coffee-themed card/project with a full step-by-step, photos, and links.  Today is my first post, the two cards below.   I made these with  Valentine's Day in mind using a digital kit from  Angie Blom Digital Designs  called  Treats Background .   I created one card using a variety of colors, and the other card is  in red and pink.  Either card would be perfect for that coffee-loving friend/partner in your life, and it would be even better to add a gift card to their favorite cafe or coffee house.  Hence, the sentiment on the card fronts.   Hello everyone, and welcome to February.  I hope everyone is staying warm and doing well.  I'm thrilled to start this month off as a Guest Designer for the February Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenge on the Coffee Loving Papercrafters Blog .  The focus this month was to make a coffee-themed Christmas card using products from Hero Arts .  As much as I love this company, since moving to Brasil 15 years ago, I have not really bought anything new for a long time due to shipping costs, import taxes, and now tariffs.  So I dug into my stash and found two wood-mounted stamps that will work - Envelope Pattern S5507 , circa 2011,  Cup of Coffee K5332 , circa 2010, and Sparkle Clear: Holiday Messages CL244 , circa 2008.   Hello everyone.  It's been forever since I made a StenDoodle design, and I have been itching to get back into playing with my stencils.  Today, I made a Valentine's Day card incorporating a StenDoodle design in the coffee cup.  This is the perfect card for that coffee lover in your life.   What is a "StenDoodle," you might be asking.  Well, it's a technique I came up with back in June, 2013 that merges doodling with stencils.  You can read about how this idea came about on  THIS post on my blog.  You can also search my blog for "StenDoodle" to see more of my work.     What do you need to make this card?  For the background paper, I used the digital Brew & Blend Craft papers from KCS Designs by Kim on Etsy . Hello everyone.   Well, today is my last post as Guest Designer on Coffee Loving Cardmakers .  I've had a blast and decided, for my final week, to make a "thank you" card as a way to thank Amy for asking me to be the Guest Designer.  I hope y'all enjoyed my cards and if you missed any of them, there are links at the end of this post if you would like to check them out.   Now, on to today's card..... I started by adhering a piece of dark brown textured cardstock ( DCWV ) to the front of my card base. Then I stamped Hardwood (Stampin Up) on to a piece of white cardstock using Pumice Stone Distress Ink (Ranger) .  Then I cut it using a Stitched Rectangle Die (Simon Says Stamp) .
