  Welcome to a new Woodblock Wednesday - the day of the week dust off and use a woodblock stamp or stamps to make a card or cards.  Today I am joining Amy and  Tsuruta Designs  for her January Edition of Woodblock Wednesday.  If you play along, link up on her blog - there is a new sponsor and a prize to be won.   I made 2 cards today - almost the same - an Easter card and a sympathy card - using 3 woodblock stamps - Field of Blooms from Stampendous, Happy Easter from Studio G, and In My Thoughts from A Muse Stamps - all retired and from my stash.   I made two A2 card bases using white cardstock and adhered a piece of decorative paper to the front of each one. Stamps .  I use Pages on my Mac with my digi stamps.  I imported both images to Pages on a card sized 4.5" x 5.5"....

  Hello everyone!  It's the 15th of the month and that means that there is a new "Anything Goes" card challenge over on the  QKR Stampede Challenge Blog .   Since Easter is fast approaching I decided to make an Easter card and fell in love with the Happy Easter with Bouquet Digital Stamp .  I knew this would make a beautiful slimline Easter card.   I printed the Happy Easter with Bouquet digital stamp - twice - on a sheet of white cardstock and colored one of them using some GRAF Duo alcohol markers and the Key Lime ultra fine-tip maker from BIC.    Next, I die-cut it using the smaller stitched slimline die from the Slim Stitched Rectangle Die Set from Pink Fresh Studio. Hello everyone.  The Design Team for Anthony's Paper Craft Design Team went with an Easter this month for our group post.  Anthony's website has been completely redone and he is now selling more than just his stamps online.  You can now get papers, glues, embellishments, pens, markers, cardstock and a ton of other things.  Now, on to my card for the month. Links to the other Design Team Members' cards are at the end of this post. To make my card I needed Easter(ish) papers, of which I had none.  So I looked through my stash and came across the It's Your Birthday - Girl paper pad from Echo Park .  Several of the designs in this pad are perfect for Easter.   I made a top-folding A2 card base to which I adhered the dark pink paper to the card front.  Then I used a stitched rectangle die to cut a piece of the plaid design, which I then adhered to the card front. Hello crafty friends and innocent bystanders!!  I apologize for not having this blog post ready for when I promised but we got so busy here that I just could not find time to write this up.   Without further ado (LOL) - Welcome to Part 2 of "Quick and Easy Easter Cards" using stamps from Anthony's Paper Craft.  The other day I showed the first four cards with simple step by step directions.  If you missed that post you can check it out { HERE }.  Today I am giving easy tutorials for Cards 5 thru 8.  Hope you like them! Hello my crafty friends and curious bystanders!!
