Quick and Easy Easter Cards With Anthony's Paper Craft - Part 1

Hello my crafty friends and curious bystanders!! I hope everyone is doing well and avoiding as much of the Spring nor'easters and snow as possible.

I've been really busy lately making mini albums, writing up tutorials for classes, and Ruy and I were involved in a few photography related projects.  And, at night I've been busy making some quick and easy Easter cards using stamps from Anthony's Paper Craft.

I used these two sets to make these cards -

Easter Set 1

Easter Set 2

Below are some quick instructions for the top row of cards (Cards 1 thru 4) if you want to use these as inspiration or to remake them yourself.

Card 1

I cut a piece of plaid Easter paper as my base.  Then I cut a piece of solid cardstock and a piece of white cardstock using the largest dies from the Nested Stitched Scallop Rectangle Set and the Rectangle Frame Set (both by Cottage Cutz).  I stamped "Happy Easter" on the white cardstock from Easter Set 1.  Then I stamped and cut out the eggs from Easter Set 2 and colored them with pastel BIC Markers.  I adhered them to the card front with foam tape and added stickles to each of the eggs for some glimmer.

Card 2
For this card, my base is dark purple cardstock.  I cut a piece of white cardstock and embossed it with the Framed Tulips Embossing Folder (Stampin Up/Retired), which I adhered to the card base.  As with Card 1, above, I cut the same purple cardstock and a piece of white cardstock using the largest dies from the Nested Stitched Scallop Rectangle Set and the Rectangle Frame Set (both by Cottage Cutz).  Then I stamped "Happy Easter" (Easter Set 1) and one of the eggs (Easter Set 2).  I colored the egg with pastel BIC Markers, cut it in half along the zig-zag, and adhered each piece above the sentiment using foam tape.  Lastly, I adhered a few purple sequins.

Card 3

This card got included in the top photo because it was an Easter card that I had already made.  I use the eggs from Easter Set 2 again and you can see the step by step from my blog post back on February 23rd - HERE.

Card 4
This card is so super simple to make.  I started with a base of purple cardstock.  Then I cut a piece of white cardstock, embossed it with the Flower Bouquet embossing folder (Crafts Too), layered it on a piece of black cardstock, which I then adhered to the card front.  I stamped the "Happy Easter" sentiment in the tag (Easter Set 1) and adhered a crystal to the center of each flower.

The first 4 cards are DONE!  I hope you have enjoyed the 4 cards.  I will have cards 5 thru 8 in my blog post for tomorrow.  And I am working on a 3D Easter card that will hopefully be a post later in the week.  Feel free to leave me a comment below on which is your favorite card.  Until next time -

Hugs from Brasil -

Michael
