  Hello everyone!  Welcome to Autumn/Fall and a new "He Made It/She Made It" collaboration with my friend Debra of  Meticulosity .  It's been almost two years since we last did a "He Made It / She Made It" collab, and we were both itching to start it again.         Autumn is in full swing, leaves are changing, and there is a chill in the air - at least in the Northern Hemisphere. Hello everyone and welcome to Day 23 of my 30 Days of Halloween/Autumn Cards.  Today I have 2 cards for autumn using a sheet of beautiful fall paper from a Brasilian company.  One card has 2 layers, the other has 3, and both share the same beautiful paper and the Leaves Turn sentiment from Technique Junkies.   If you want to make one of these cards, or one like it, here is what I did: I made two top-folding A2 card bases from 2 different tones of orange.   I then die-cut 2 pieces of white cardstock,  die cut them each using a 4" x 5.25" stitched rectangle die, and adhered 1 to the inside of each card - where a message can be written. I stamped Leaves Turn - twice - on white cardstock, die cut using a banner die, layered them on a piece of orange cardstock, and set to the side to use later.  Card No. 1 I die-cut a piece of the fall leaves paper using a 4" x 5.25" stitched rectangle die, adhered it to a piece of fun foam, and then to the card front....

  Hello everyone and welcome to Day 7 of my 30 Days of Halloween/Autumn Cards. Today I have a Thanksgiving card for you using 2 stamps from  Technique Junkies  - Overlapping Leaves and Happy Thanksgiving .   If you would like to make this card or one like it, this is what I did:  I made a top folding A2 card base by cutting a piece of wine colored cardstock, 5.5" x 8.5", placed the long side along the top of my scoring tool, scored at 4.25", burnished well, and you have your card base. I die-cut a piece of orange cardstock using a 4" x 5.25" stitched rectangle die and adhered that to the card front. Then I stamped Overlapping Leaves on a piece of scrapbook paper that had orange tones/designs on it.  This way, no coloring necessary!   I die-cut this using a 3.75" x 5" stitched rectangle die, adhered a piece of black fun foam to the back, and then to the card front.  I stamped Happy Thanksgving on a piece of white cardstock, colored in ...

Hello everyone and welcome to Day 4 of my 30 Days of Halloween/Autumn Cards. I have a funny story about today's cards.  I originally made these for  Sketch Challenge #49   with the Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers Blog .  Just as I was about to upload them, my friend Debra politely informed me that they are not Christmas cards, and that I cannot use them for the challenge.  But, they are awesome cards worth sharing and I will probably make some Christmas cards using this sketch - so keep a look out for that post.   Below is the sketch for  Sketch Challenge #49  and, I  made 2 cards because this sketch makes it so easy to do.   Hello everyone and welcome to Day 9 of my 31 Days {hopefully} Halloween/Autumn Cards 2023 series.  Today I have another simple and beautiful (I think) gratitude/blessings/Thanksgiving card using Worn Leaves Background and Autumn Framed Sentiments , both from Technique Junkies , with the Ombré Autumn ink from Hero Arts.    I started with an A2 card base from white cardstock. I adhered a piece of autumn orange cardstock to the card front. I die-cut a piece of white cardstock using a stitched rectangle die and then I stamped Worn Leaves on the front using the Ombré Autumn ink pad from Hero Arts.  I LOVE this ink pad.  :-) For my sentiment - I used the same cardstock as my card front, stamped my sentiment using Onyx Black Versafine Ink, heat embossed it with clear embossing powder, trimmed it, layered it on a piece of black cardstock, and then adhered it to the card front.   Done.  If you wanted, you could add a few crystals or enamel dots bu...

  Welcome to Day 5 of my 31 Days {hopefully} of Halloween/Autumn Cards 2023.  5 days so far!  I'm on a roll.  :-) Today I went with two gratitude/Thanksgiving cards with Autumn colors.  One has splatters and crystals and the other only has crystals.  I started making this card for a CAS {clean and simple} card challenge blog.  I have issues making one-layer cards with lots of white space, but I did it.  When I went to post it, the challenge had ended.  Sigh.  But, thankfully, there are several other card challenge blogs that have autumn or autumn-colored challenges and that's where this card will go.   Links to these challenges are at the end of this post if you want to play along along with a coupon code to save 10% on these stamps.   To make this card...   Hello...Hello...hello everyone!  There is a new card challenge blog on the block called The Four Seasons Challenge Blog that my friend Debra told me about. They will be having monthly challenges and the themes will always be an "anything goes theme" based on the season that that month is in.  I love this idea.   Their first challenge is up and running and it's an Anything Goes Fall theme and will run thru September 25th with winners being announced on the 28th.  Here is the mood board for September. I decided to make a sunflower slimline card. Sunflowers are my favorite flower and nothing makes me happier than finding a sunflower field to walk thru, which we have many of here in June and July, our Autumn.   For inspiration, I used this photo of me and one of our dogs, Bella, in a field we found just 2 months ago.  I love the blue sky behind the sunflowers. Hello everyone!!  Is everyone enjoying the Fall season yet?  Here in the countryside of São Paulo, it's been overcast and chilly.  We went from 100 degrees last week to 60 this week.  And we are NOT in Fall but into Spring now.   But, keeping in line with the chill in the air this week, today's card is an autumn-themed card using a beautiful set called Leaf/Fern Set  from Anthony's Paper Craft . I started by making a top folding A2 card from white cardstock.  I found a nice design from a digital paper pack called Honey Honey by Samantha Walker.  I printed it out and adhered it to the card front. Using Coffee Archival Ink, I stamped one of the leaves on to another piece of white cardstock 1.5" x 5.25".  Then, using Tombow markers 946, 025, and 055, I blended the colors on the leaves.   Next, I adhered this to a piece of brown cardstock and then to the card front.  From a sticker pack I had in m...
