I'm Back.....with Retro Rubber Challenge No. 65

Hello everyone!  It's been too long since I have posted anything here because I was back in NY for a month.  Although I brought stamps and supplies back with me to play with I never made any of the ideas I planned on making.  It was a nice trip.  I got to family, catch up with some friends, and take care of some things.  I got back a week ago finally found some time to make some cards that I wanted to share with you guys.   My apologies if the photos are not great....I now have a Mac and am learning how to work with photos!  Talk about stress!!  LOL The two cards at the top I made for both a card swap (left side) and for the Retro Rubber Challenge Blog (right side).  For the card swap I had to use a stamp by either Penny Black or Stampendous.  So I decided to use the sketch in the current Retro Rubber Challenge No. 65 to make the card, which is this one -  I started with an A2 top folding card base.  I f...

More Coffee Please!!

Hello again everyone.  Yes, two posts in one day and both are coffee related.  I actually started this idea late last night for National Espresso Day and did not think I would have enough time today to finish it.  But, since the car had to be taken to the mechanic, I found the time!  I just love this smiling Lady Liberty holding up her large coffee for the whole city to see. Hope you do too! I started with a piece of white cardstock, 4" x 5.25".  Then I stamped the Liberty Balloon Holder  ( Eureka Stamps ) with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored her with Copic markers.  Next, using a piece of black cardstock and a piece of grey textured cardstock I cut the City Landscape Layers die ( Impression Obsession ) and adhered them to the card front so it looks like Lady Liberty is behind the city.
