Hello everyone.  TGIF!!  I hope everyone had a great week.  Why does it feel like this week took forever to end?  I am really looking forward to the weekend and I best most of you guys are too.  Although this card is not CAS (clean and simple), I do think it works as an easy card.  I think.  LOL.   I started with a top folding A2 white card base.  Then I adhered a 1"x 5 1/2" strip of silver cardstock down the left side of the card front.  Then I adhered a strip of striped washi tape down over the silver piece. After that I dug through my stash and found a paper I liked from an old 6x6 pad.  I cut a piece 3 1/2" x 5 1/2", adhered it to a piece of fun foam, distress the edges, and adhered it all to the card front next to the washi tape strip. Hello everyone.  OK...I am bad.  I disappeared. Without even announcing a winner to the cards I made.  I am truly sorry but just as the contest was ending I got swamped with work and completely forgot to pick a winner for all the cards I made!  I had two people ask me to make a signature album for their weddings, I had 3 couples come in for me to make their wedding invites, I had one lady come in asking me to make some photo albums she wanted to give as small gifts and I had to make a travel mini album for a private class I was giving.  I missed making cards!! Hello everyone!  I hope everyone had a great New Year's Eve!  Welcome to 2016!  It pretty much rained all day yesterday but it did stop close to midnight so that we could watch fireworks from the back terrace. Today I woke up to some beautiful sun but now....it's raining again.  This time last year Sao Paulo was under a major H2O shortage so I won't complain too much about the excess rain we are getting this year.  Now...for my first card of 2016... Stamp Ink Paper is having their last card challenge of 2015 and it's an Anything But Christmas challenge.  A few weeks ago I made this card for their "Thanks" challenge using a stamp from Concord & 9th .   Another idea popped into my head that is perfect to enter into the SIP (Stamp Ink Paper) Challenge No. 28 - Anything But Christmas challenge !   It's open until tomorrow night and I hope you will enter a card too! Thank You Card with Concord & 9th Images Hello everyone.  It's Thursday!!  One more week and I am off to a beach for 5 days.  I have not had a vaca in many years and am looking forward to chilling on the sand.  With my stencils and trying to get my StenDoodle mojo back!!  Even though I have been fighting a cold for two days now I seem to have had more energy with the cold!.  Go figure.   This week I got some happy mail from the states -  a die and some stamps that I ordered from Concord & 9th .  Check out that Tree Ring!!!!
