Daisies In A Watering Can

Hello everyone.  TGIF!!  I hope everyone had a great week.  Why does it feel like this week took forever to end?  I am really looking forward to the weekend and I best most of you guys are too.  Although this card is not CAS (clean and simple), I do think it works as an easy card.  I think.  LOL.

I started with a top folding A2 white card base.  Then I adhered a 1"x 5 1/2" strip of silver cardstock down the left side of the card front.  Then I adhered a strip of striped washi tape down over the silver piece. After that I dug through my stash and found a paper I liked from an old 6x6 pad.  I cut a piece 3 1/2" x 5 1/2", adhered it to a piece of fun foam, distress the edges, and adhered it all to the card front next to the washi tape strip.

After this I die cut and embossed the Memory Box Garden Watering Can using the same silver cardstock I used for the strip, and then adhered it to the card front.  I stamped the phrase under the watering can using words from Concord & 9th's You Are Enough set.

After this I stamped the Daisies by Deep Red in Memento Tuxedo Black, colored them in with some Copic markers, and then had my Scan N Cut cut it out.  I put some pop dots behind the daisies and adhered them to the front so it looked like they were sitting in the watering can.  The last steps were to apply some green stickles to the leaves and some Autumn Flower Soft to the centers of the flowers.

That's it.  Done!  Like I said...easy.  Ok...easier than some of the other cards I have made lately.  Leave a comment below and let me know how you liked this card.  Hope everyone has a great weekend.  Until next time -

Hugs from Brasil -
Michael
