  Welcome to Day 6 of my 31 Days {hopefully} of Halloween/Autumn Cards 2023.  I  love making square cards.  I have so many 6x6 paper pads and it's so easy to just adhere one of the sheets to a card front and work from there. Today's card is a 5.5" square card using the  Drop A House  stamp from  Technique Junkies  and one of the papers from the  Hocus Pocus Collection  from Echo Park.  It's an older pad and I used the digital version from  Snap Click Supply .   How to make the card: I started by making my card base 5.5" x 11", which I scored in the center. I adhered one of the papers from the Hocus Pocus Collection to my card front and trimmed the excess.  I went with the witch's feet to match the stamp.  I stamped Drop A House on white cardstock and colored it with some alcohol markers and then I die-cut the image using a stitched square die .   Hello everyone!  I hope y'all are doing well and staying cool.  Today I am sharing an album I made for a friend in town.  His name is Maik, he's 21, and about to embark on the biggest adventure of his life - working on a cruise ship in Europe for 8 months.   I met Maik at an event at a language school that my friend owns back when he was only 17 or 18 and a student at the school.  I was really impressed with how good his English was considering he had only been learning for about 6 months.  After getting to know him more over the years, he told me that his dream was to travel the world as a flight attendant and he lived and breathed learning English.   He had just gotten his certificate at Flight Attendant School when the pandemic hit and everything changed.  It was impossible to get a job on an airline and when planes began to fly again, they were not really hiring.  But he kept studying and focusing on getting out of this t...

Hello everyone and Happy Friday!!  I wanted to make a quick post to show you guys another Halloween card that I made for the If You Give A Crafter A Cookie Challenge Blog - Challenge No. 105.  This is the 2nd card I made for this challenge because I love (and miss) Halloween.  The first card was yesterday and you can check that card out { HERE }.   For today's card I used two digital items.  The first was a digital image from Vera Lane Studio on Etsy.  I love her images...quirky and fun.  The image I used is called October  and it comes with the girl holding the pumpkin and two phrases.  I started by printing out the image two times, coloring them with BIC Markers....one of them fully colored and just the pumpkin on the other.  I fussy cut her out and then I fussy cut just the pumpkin.  I then went back and added some Firefly Stickles (Ranger) to her eyebrows and some Orange Peel Stickles (Ranger) to her dress and h...
