Hello everyone.  I hope y'all enjoyed the "punny" cards in yesterday's post .  Continuing with the Stamp Ink Paper Challenge "punny" theme, I have a super simple card for you today.  I have to admit that, when this phrase, "You Octopi My Heart", first came out last year, I was NOT a fan.  I thought it was the dumbest phrase ever. But...I have evolved...and now I embrace it.  LOL  I started with a white cardstock base of 4" x 8", scored on the long side at 4" - for a 4" note card. Since I do not own this phrase, I printed it off the computer and then die cut it using the 3" die from the Die-namics Pierced Square STAX .  I then cut a piece of white fun foam and adhered this to the back of the 3" square.  I then adhered this to the center of the card front. For the border, I used a piece of navy blue cardstock and the largest die from the Scalloped Square Frames , and adhered this around the card front.   ...

Good morning folks.  Got up today at 11:00am.  That NEVER happens.  We saw the new Walking Dead episode last night (great one, too, if you watch) and then I proceeded to toss and turn almost all night! It's either the zombies or the fact that I have too many projects in my head that need to come out!  LOL Today's card was made to enter into the black, white and red color challenge over at Can You Case It?  How to make the card:   Make an A2 card base out of textured red cardstock.  Adhere the black cardstock to the card front.  Then adhere the white cardstock to the black.  Using your die cut machine, cut and then emboss the Typewriter die out of black cardstock.   Cut a piece of red cardstock with the 4th largest die from the Pierced Rectangle STAX . Adhere the 1.75" x 3" white cardstock to the piece you just cut.  Place a piece of double sided tape at the bottom (don't remove the top piece yet).   N...
