A Perfect Time To Craft September Card Challenge | Halloween Cards | Anne Constantly-Carding

Image
Hello everyone!  Welcome to the September 2026 A Perfect Time to Craft Card Challenge .  I am happy to announce that, after sharing my cards in the challenge, the owner of the card challenge blog asked me to be on the Design Team, and I happily accepted.  This is my first month with the team.  Each challenge lasts a month, there are always prizes to be won by that month's sponsors, and all you need to do is make a card and link it up in the challenge.   For September, the Sponsors are Anne Constantly-Carding and Moondrea Designs on Etsy.  For this month, I made t hese 4 Halloween cards using the Spooky Season Halloween Bumper Set from Anne Constantly-Carding .  This set has everything you need to make cards or other Halloween papercrafts: 5 sheets of Halloween-patterned paper, 4 sheets of card toppers, and a sheet of clipart.   To make these cards: I printed the card-topper and decorative pages for each image.  Each card-t...

August 2026 Woodblock Wednesday Card | Merry Christmas Santa Card

Image
Hello everyone! I hope y'all are doing well.  Today I am sharing my August 2026 Woodblock Wednesday card.  What is "Woodblock Wednesday", you ask?  Well, it's the day of the week to dust off and ink up a woodblock stamp, and make something with it.  And, o n the last Wednesday of the month, my friend Amy celebrates her love of woodblock stamps with a post on her Woodblock Wednesday Instagram page. If you make a card of your own, you can link it to her card HERE   by Monday, August 31st at 5am Pacific for a chance to win a small prize.     I have not had much free time this month but I wanted to make a fun, quick, and easy Christmas card for today.  I think I have achieved everything with this card.  I used the Rectangle Peek-a-Boo Window die from MFT/Die-namics along with "All Tied Up", a woodblock rubber stamp from Gourmet Rubber Stamps.  Sadly, both companies have closed.  Here's how I made the card: Using red c...

The Crafty Elves Countdown to Christmas - August 2026 Edition | Holiday Nostalgia Cards

Image
Welcome to the August 2026 Edition of The Crafty Elves Countdown to Christmas with Deb and Lisa .  Deb is taking this month off, but you can still check out her blog for lots of inspiration.  If you are new here, on the 25th of each month, the Crafty Elves post one or more holiday cards, hoping we inspire you to start making your own holiday cards along with us.    I've been sick lately and just had enough time to pump out two quick - yet beautiful - Christmas cards for y'all using the Holiday Nostalgia Digital Collection from KCS Designs by Kim on Etsy.  This collection has 20 beautiful Christmas junk journal papers that you can use for cards, tags, or even junk journals.    To make these cards: Using red cardstock, I made 2 A2-sized cards.   After deciding which images I wanted to use, I printed each image and fussy-cut them using a stitched rectangle die.  I adhered a piece of fun foam to the back and then to my card fronts....

Halloween Coffin Box | Halloween Treat Box | VectoriaDesigns on Etsy

Hey everyone.  Even though we are heading into spring here in Brasil, my favorite time of the year will soon be happening in the USA - autumn and Halloween.  Man, I miss Halloween!  The fun decorations in the stores, the bags of candy you can't get any other time of the year, kids trick-or-treating, pumpkins, the smell of a fireplace burning somewhere.  But the things I miss the most are candy corn, especially the chocolate candy corn, and the Halloween Parade in the Village.   So it's time to make fun  Halloween projects.   Today I am sharing a fun Halloween Coffin Box from VectoriaDesigns on Etsy.  It's super easy to put together.  Here, different companies sell boxes filled with sample-sized chocolates - Nestle, Garoto, Trento.  I'm going to add some to the inside of the coffin box to give to Ruy for Halloween.     You can find this Halloween Coffin Box Template in the Mega Halloween Party Bundle or, i...

Yes It's A Holiday Collab with Debra and Lori | National Coloring Book Day | 1 Page = 4 Cards

Image
Hello everyone, and welcome to a new Yes It's A Holiday, or Yes, It Is A Holiday collab with my Instagram buddies - Debra and Lori .  Today, August 2nd, we are helping to celebrate National Coloring Book Day, a day that celebrates the stress-relief and meditative benefits of coloring - for both adults and children.      To read more about today's holiday, just click HERE . A few months ago, I bought the Abstract Zentangle Coloring Book from Circa Sassy on Etsy.  It has 256 pages to color.  And because it's digital, you can print a page whenever you want, on any type of paper you want.  If you don't have any coloring books or coloring pages to use, you can do a search on Google for "free coloring pages" and you will find a lot of options.  The main reason I love this abstract coloring book is that you can print a page, color the whole page, and make 4 cards.  Let me show you... This is how I made these cards:        ...
