TGIF everyone!!  Today is the first day in about a week that we have no rain, the sun is shining bright and there are fluffy white clouds in the sky.  It has poured every night this week with major thunder and lightening too.  And, of course, electric on and off.  But it looks like it's going to be a great weekend.   I cannot believe it is almost Halloween!  This year has flown by.  Although this is not today's card, I wanted to share a Halloween card that I made the other day. Hello everyone.  Thanks so much for all the comments and views to my post this past Sunday for the CYCI Mother's Day Inspiration card .   While working on that card, another idea popped into my head - the card above.  This time I used a 3" white art square from Inchie Arts .   I love this product!! It is an artist grade matboard and I love how it stands up to any medium I might be using - dry to wet.   I StenDoodled the umbrella in the same way as the previous card - traced the umbrella from the Rain stencil with a Copic Multi Liner.  Then went back in with the Slices 6 stencil and then the Doodle It Inchie stencil - all from StencilGirl Products .  Colored it in with my Inktense Watercolor Pencils and a water brush.  The colors do not bleed on the matboard and get absorbed very nicely.  I then applied some Diamond Glaze from Judikins over the umbrella and set it aside to dry. Good morning folks.  Got up today at 11:00am.  That NEVER happens.  We saw the new Walking Dead episode last night (great one, too, if you watch) and then I proceeded to toss and turn almost all night! It's either the zombies or the fact that I have too many projects in my head that need to come out!  LOL Today's card was made to enter into the black, white and red color challenge over at Can You Case It?  How to make the card:   Make an A2 card base out of textured red cardstock.  Adhere the black cardstock to the card front.  Then adhere the white cardstock to the black.  Using your die cut machine, cut and then emboss the Typewriter die out of black cardstock.   Cut a piece of red cardstock with the 4th largest die from the Pierced Rectangle STAX . Hello everyone.  Hope y'all are having a great weekend!  Yesterday Ruy and I went into Sao Paulo and met some friends for a day of fun and to see Whiskey!  He went nuts when he saw us and, as much as he missed Ruy, he missed me more.  LOL. He was pretty much in my arms for most of the morning!  Barbara loves him and Whiskey is really loving his new home.  Check out his smile below! Today I am showing another Valentine's Day card. Seriously, you can make this card in under 15 minutes!  I love love love this background from MFT and the "XO" letters go perfectly with it. Hey everyone.  I see that my old city is being hammered once again with snow...snow..and more snow.  I miss big snow storms like that.  Here it is raining...raining...raining.  But we still need it.  Our city is doing much better but the city of Sao Paulo is going to start rationing water soon.  Scary.   Today I have another Valentine's Day card.  But it can really be used for any day.  No reason to limit saying "I Love You" to just Valentine's Day.  Right?  Step by Step : (1)  Grab your die cut machine and cut the Stitched Journaling Card with white cardstock. Then lay one of the dies from the Stitched Hillside Border set about 3/4" down from the top and cut again.  You will end up with two pieces.
