Hello everyone, and welcome to the July 2026 Edition of the Crafty Elves Countdown to Christmas with Deb and Lisa.  If you are new here, on the 25th of each month, we (the Crafty Elves) post one or more holiday cards, with the hopes that we inspire you to make your own cards for the holidays. 

You guys know I live on Etsy.  Well, I recently found a digital kit on Etsy filled with the quirkiest, most whimsical, and fun images to use for Christmas cards!  The kit is Whimsical Christmas Doodles from Pink Lake Studio on Etsy.  This collection has 156 images - traditional images of stockings, Christmas trees, reindeer, wooden soldiers, and lots of Santa images, as well as fun and quirky images of dogs, cats, women shopping, having coffee - there are so many to choose from. 

 
To make these cards:
  • After deciding which images I wanted to use, I printed two of each image on a piece of white cardstock.  
  • I die-cut one of each of the image using a stitched rectangle die, and I fussy-cut certain parts from the 2nd image.  We will adhere them later.   
  • Using white cardstock, I made 4 A2-sized cards.  
  • I die-cut 4 pieces of cardstock, 2 red and 2 white, and embossed them all with a poinsettia embossing folder from Sunlit, and adhered each of them to my card fronts.  
  • I adhered each of the images I die-cut to the card fronts.  I layered two of the images on gold cardstock.  Two I left plain.  
  • Using small foam tape, I adhered the fussy-cut pieces to the card fronts.  
Here are the 4 cards I made.  They are all blank inside for a message.

BLOG CANDY STENCILS!!! BLOG CANDY STENCILS!!!!!

**Blog Candy Update!!  -  I have a few more items to my Blog Candy -  A 6x6 StencilGirl Stencil called  Bird In Window by Pam Carriker, a box of Brasilian chocolates, a Brasilian Scrapbooking magazine called Guia do Scrapbooking, which means Guide to Scrapbooking.  It's in portuguese but you can get great ideas with the pictures and layouts they give.   And I have added a 6" x 6" Gelli Arts Gel Printing Plate!!!  --------------------------------------------- Hello everyone!  My first Blog Candy post!!  Long story short - in November, when StencilGirl had their big Black Friday sale, I placed an order.  Due to a glitch in their system (but in our favor) the same order was shipped to me - twice.  Since I did not pay for one of the orders, I emailed John at StencilGirl and he told me to keep them and offer them up as blog candy at a later date.  Hence....this BLOG CANDY post!!  All you have to do i...

QKR Stampede Anything Goes Challenge | Slimline Happy Easter Card

  Hello everyone!  It's the 15th of the month and that means that there is a new "Anything Goes" card challenge over on the  QKR Stampede Challenge Blog .   Since Easter is fast approaching I decided to make an Easter card and fell in love with the Happy Easter with Bouquet Digital Stamp .  I knew this would make a beautiful slimline Easter card.   I printed the Happy Easter with Bouquet digital stamp - twice - on a sheet of white cardstock and colored one of them using some GRAF Duo alcohol markers and the Key Lime ultra fine-tip maker from BIC.    Next, I die-cut it using the smaller stitched slimline die from the Slim Stitched Rectangle Die Set from Pink Fresh Studio.
