Hello everyone. I wanted to share a quick card I just made using a Snowflake Cover Die from Momenta (No. 2219525) that I found in my stash. It's long retired but I did fine THIS ONE for sale on Poshmark - if you want to snag it. I loved making this card because it can be for any of the holidays - Christmas, Hanukkah, even Kwanzaa - just add the sentiment you need for the holiday. And using white glittered fun foam makes it so much easier.
Here's what I did:
- I made an A2 size card using dark blue cardstock.
- I cut a piece of white glittered fun foam, adhered some 2" double-sided tape to the back, and die-cut the Momenta Snowflake Die. If you don't have the fun foam, you can use glittered cardstock.
- After carefully removing all the pieces I did not need, I adhered the glittered snowflake to my card front.
For the inside:
- I die-cut a piece of white cardstock using a 4" x 5.25" stitched rectangle die, stamped and embossed the snowflake sentiment from the Poinsettia stamp set from Ciao Bella Paper, and adhered it to the inside. Then I colored the words "snowflakes" and "different" using a light blue fine-tip marker.
- Lastly, I added clear Swarovski crystals to the center of each of the snowflakes on the front of the card, which you probably can't see in the photo but, trust me, they are there.
Done! Hope you guys liked this quick idea. Does anyone use fun foam on their cards? Just curious. Until next time...
Hugs from Brasil.
~Michael
