Hello everyone.  I hope y'all are doing well.  I was asked to make a beach-themed mini album for someone here, and I knew I had to use the new tutorial called Petals from Frances at Your Book of Memories.  I also used the most amazing shabby chic beach-themed papers from Imagine The Art Design on Etsy.  Links to everything I used are at the end of this post.   Hello everyone.  Welcome to Week 3 of my Equality For All Cardmaking Series. Every Friday in May and June, my fellow cardmakers and I are making cards to help celebrate Pride and the LGBT+ community.  If you want more inspiration, check out the  Equality For All Makers Hop on Instagram  we had 2 weeks ago.  All the amazing cards can be seen  in  this  post on my Instagram page.   This week I made an easy rainbow colored card using an old die in my stash - Leafy Sprig Border from Poppy Stamps along with some rainbow colored paper.    Now, to make this card: I made a top-folding A2 card using white cardstock.  I printed one of the watercolor splash papers, die-cut a piece using a 4.25" x 5.5" stitched rectangle die, and adhered it to the card front.   I printed rainbow colored striped paper from the Pride Month Digital Paper Collection (link below).  I added 2" wide double-sided tape to the back and die...

I was asked to make this card for someone in town, and I am sharing how I made it since everything I used is digital, and easy to get if you want to remake this idea.  The person who wants this card is giving it to a female photographer.  She asked for the card to have a camera on the front, maybe some flowers, and, if possible, could I incorporate the phrase "Say Cheese" somewhere on the card.    Can I make it?  SURE!  Easy-peasy!  Links to everything I used are at the end of this post.  For the paper, I printed out the paper that says "Say Cheese" all over it from the Say Cheese Digital Paper collection by Angie Blom Digital Designs.  Then I die-cut a piece of it using a 4.25" x 5.5" stitched rectangle die from Pink and Main, and adhered it to the front of the black card base.  For the camera with the flowers, I printed two of the cameras with flowers (link below), and colored them with Touch alcohol markers.   One,...

Hello everyone, and welcome to another Woodblock Wednesday -  the day of the week we set aside to give some love to woodblock stamps that we have not used in some time.     I am joining my friend Amy, who posts a Woodblock Wednesday card to her blog on the last Wednesday of each month.   For today's card, I used 2 woodblock stamps from my stash.  One is a white dude (ME) on a beach sipping a fully loaded alcoholic drink.  This stamp has no name and it was made by The Stamp Barn out of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.  The other is a stamp was made by Putting on the Ritz and says "Life's a Beach".  Both companies are long out of business.    I stamped the guy on the beach on white cardstock, colored the image with BIC Intensity Ultra Fine Tip markers, and die-cut it using a 3.25" x 4.5" stitched rectangle die.  I added white glue to the areas of the image where I wanted sand, sprinkled on real sand, knocked off the excess, and all...
