2025 Fall | Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop | Slimline Coffee Card | Coffee Home Decor

Hello everyone.  Today, I would like to share another card I made for the 2025 Fall | Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop.   The hop runs through November 14th, there are 35 Super Sponsors, and lots of prizes to be won if you make a card of your own or even comment on the posts.

All the information about the hop, the Super Sponsors, the prizes, and how to enter a card can be found on the Coffee Loving Papercrafters socials listed below:

I knew that I would use a stitched slimline rectangle die measuring 3 5/8" x 8 5/8" as my main layer, and a die measuring 3.25" x 8.25" for the top layer/image layer, and I had to make sure the image would fit inside.  After a few tries on printer paper, I settled at 86%, and printed the image twice, at 86%, on heavyweight white cardstock.  The dies I used were made by Pink Fresh Studio but have been discontinued.

Next, I cut all of the parts to make the card:

  • I made my card base by cutting a piece of Kraft cardstock, 7 1/4" x 8 5/8".  I placed the short side along the top of my scoreboard, scored at 3 5/8", and burnished well.
  • I die-cut another piece of Kraft cardstock using the stitched slimline rectangle die.  If you don't have this die, you can skip this part.
  • I cut a piece of fun foam, 3 1/8" x 8 1/8" - optional.
  • I die-cut one of the printed "but first coffee" images using the 3.25" x 8.25" die.  If you don't have this die, trim the image to 3.25" x 8.25".
  • I fussy-cut the letters and the iced coffee cup from the 2nd "but first coffee" image, colored them with some alcohol markers in my stash, and added foam tape squares to the back of the letters only.

I adhered the stitched slimline rectangle to my card front, I adhered the fun foam to the back of the "but first coffee" image, and then to the card front.  Then I adhered the fussy-cut letters to the image.

I applied Diamond Glaze to the "to-go coffee cup" image and set it aside to fully dry.  Once if fully dried, I added some foam tape to the back and added it to the card front.

Lastly, to make this card/home decor piece even better, I glued coffee beans to the card front where the images are.

Thanks for stopping by the blog today.  If you would like to see more of my work, my socials are all listed below.  Following me there would totally make my day.
