You Make My Heart Smile with Stampin Up

Hello everyone!  I loved making today's card.  It's such a simple, easy, and nice card to give to anyone that makes you smile.  It could be someone you love, or the babysitter, or a neighbor.  I think this would be a beautiful and perfect note card for a small gift too.  Hope you do too.

To make this really simple card - start with a white cardstock card base of 4" x 8", scored at 4", and top folding.  To this I adhered a piece of patterned paper, 4" x 4", to the card front.  To this I adhered a piece of metallic blue cardstock, 3 5/8" x 3 5/8".

Next I cut a piece of white cardstock, 3.5" x 3.5", and stamped the smaller flower from the Timeless Love set in the lower right corner with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.  I stamped the phrase "You Make My Heart Smile" next to the image, also using Memento Tuxedo Black ink.  Then I colored in the image with some Copics.  Then, to the give the card some depth, I adhered a piece of white fun foam to the back of the white cardstock and then adhered this to the metallic blue cardstock.

Adhered a few pink sequins with glossy accents, and went over the flowers with a Clear Wink of Stella Brush pen to give some glimmer.  Done!!

I hope you enjoyed this easy card to make.  As I said earlier, this is such a kind card to give to someone to make them smile too!  And we all need more smiling going around.

Please leave a comment below if you want to have a chance to win all the cards I am making in February.  And, until next time -

Hugs from Brasil -
Michael

Plus, I want to win your cards. My stash of ore-done cards is almost completely depleted. Yours would be a welcome addition!
