Good morning all! Well we made it half way through the week!! Got more rain yesterday. Expecting more today. Sigh! Today I have another cute 4" note card using a stamp from Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps called Bluebird Wreath. I know that it looks like an image that should only be used for Christmas but I think it is much more versatile if you have the right sentiment and paper.
I started with a white card base - 4" x 8", scored at 4", and top folded. To this I adhered a piece of black cardstock, 4" x 4". Then I looked through my stash for a piece of patterned paper that had a wedding/silvery shimmer look to it, and adhered a piece - 3.75" x 3.75" to the black cardstock.
Then I grabbed my Stitched Square Stax from MFT and cut a piece of black cardstock with the 3" die and a piece of white cardstock with the 2 5/8" die. Adhered the black cardstock to the center of the card over the paper.
Next I stamped the image of the Bluebirds, leaving enough room for the phrase underneath. Then I stamped the phrase "Happy Anniversary" from the Life Stuff Sentiments set from Impression Obsession (a great set of sentiments for your stash). Colored in the birds with some Tombow markers and then adhered it to the black cardstock. Finally - adhered the crystals around the wreath with glossy accents and - Done!!
I hope you enjoyed this card. Remember to leave a comment here for a chance to win all the note cards I am making in February! Until next time -
Hugs from Brasil -
Michael
