Woven Ribbons Note Cards with Frantic Stamper - Part II

Hello everyone.  I hope everyone survived their Monday and that their week has started well.  Yesterday it pretty much rained all day and I had some issues with a card.  Did you ever try to make the simplest of cards and it's just one problem after another?  I had that yesterday.  I did finally get the card done and will post it tomorrow.

But for today we have a very short post!!

So, remember the card I made yesterday (click HERE to the card) and all those little pieces of black paper I had?  Well I figured out what to do with them. After I removed all the small pieces on yesterday's card I had the one big outline piece. So I made an A2 card and adhered a piece of black cardstock to the card front.  Then I adhered this outline piece to the black cardstock and then inserted each of the black pieces that I saved from the first card.

Now, I know you are asking....why use the pieces of black cardstock if the card base is the same cardstock? Well I wanted the card to still have that "puzzle" look and feel to it when you touch it.  It also gave a bit of dimension and texture to the card.

But...it looked boring!

So I went and cut a piece of hot pink glitter fun foam and die cut the "Scripty Hello" die from Lawn Fawn and adhered it to the card front.  Totally changed the card!

It still needed a little something else so I grabbed some pink and gold sequins, adhered a few to the front and now it looks much much better!  Had some issues with glue residue on the black paper but I think I got most of it off! Phew!

Done!  Would love to hear your thoughts on this card.  Remember to leave a comment for a chance to win all the cards I am making in February.  Until next time -

Hugs from Brasil -
Michael
