If You Give A Crafter A Cookie Challenge 92 with Bugaboo Digi Stamps

Image
Hello and Happy Wednesday everyone!!!  I wanted to share a quick card I made for the If You Give A Crafter A Cookie Challenge Blog .  This is Cookie Challenge 92 and the inspiration was -  Since the sponsor for this challenge is Bugaboo Stamps  I wanted to use one of their images.  I decided to make a "spring" card and used Whimsical Cat 1  (Bugaboo) as my image.       This is a super simple card to make.   I printed out the image on to white cardstock and colored it with a variety of my BIC markers.  I then cut it using a stitched rectangle die.   Next, using the Polkadot Flowers Digi Paper , also by Bugaboo, I printed one of the designs onto a piece of white cardstock, which I then trimmed and adhered to my card front.    I cut a piece of white fun foam that I adhered to the white cardstock, which I then adhered to the card front.  I also used some Stickles...

3D Butterfly Card With BIC Markers

Image
Good morning everyone!  Gosh, I am typing this up at 4am.  Could not sleep.  Creative juices flowing.  How many of you guys go through the same thing?  It's crazy and I am very happy that I have a pitcher of iced coffee waiting for me!  LOL Today I have a card I made for a friend who loves butterflies.  I have made a card like this [ here ] but I had the idea to make the butterflies 3D and had to get this idea out of my head.   I used Butterflies 1 and 2 from Anthony's Paper Craft again but this time with watercolor paper and BIC markers , which blended beautifully on the paper.  I hope you guys like how this came out as much as I do! I started by cutting a piece of white cardstock with the large stitched rectangle die from the Stitched Shapes Bundle  (Simon Says Stamp).  I placed the cardstock in my Misti, centered  Butterflies 2  (Anthony's Paper Craft) on the cardstock, closed the lid and stam...

If You Give A Crafter A Cookie Challenge 91 with Unity Stamp and an Ice Cream Truck!

Image
Hello everyone!!!  I think my mojo took another holiday because I have been trying to make some cards for days and nothing in my head was working!!  Maybe, because I have been making so many mini albums, that my fingers have forgotten how to make a card?  Is that possible?  LOL I saw over on the If You Give A Crafter A Cookie Challenge Blog that the current challenge, Cookie Challenge 91  - is all about transportation.  This ice cream truck stamp set was sitting on my desk and, since this is a form of transportation, I was able to pop this clean and simple card out of my head!  I cut a piece of white cardstock using the large stitched rectangle from the Bundle of Stitched Shapes ( Simon Says Stamp ).  Then I placed the Journal Texture No. 2 stencil ( StencilGirl Products ) down on the cardstock and distressed over it with Spun Sugar Distress Ink by Ranger. Next, I stamped the ice cream truck from the More Than Ice Crea...

Samantha's Selfie Card with Bloobel Digi Stamps

Image
Hello everyone!  Today I have a fast, fun, and quirky post.  I was recently introduced to a new (for me) digi stamp company called Bloobel  by my friend Anne in Australia. The images might not be for everyone but, being a bit odd and different, I fell in love with them immediately!!  LOL This is Samantha.  I call her Sam.   Sam loves to take selfies.   She also wants to be a Hollywood star. The other night she heard on the radio that "some people at NASA" were looking at the stars. Sam, not being the brightest bulb in the chandelier,  and not knowing who or what NASA is, decided that, since she wants to be a star, she is going to send her selfie to NASA. So I made her this card.  LOL I printed  Selfie Portrait  on to a piece of white cardstock.  I then colored her with Copic markers.  I colored her hair with E13 (Light Suntan) and then went back with E15 (Dark Suntan), her face with R...

Freshly Made Sketches 328 With Anthony's Paper Craft

Image
Hello everyone.  I hope y'all had a great weekend! Ours was busy as usual.  Saturday night we went to Arte & Fato for the photo exhibition.  There was a really nice turnout and it feels great to see people voting and donating food.  But we got home really late.  And last night we had our friend Rociel over for dinner and we were up late chatting.  It was his first time tasting Mac N Cheese and he loved mine!!  Good grief my butt is dragging.  I think tonight will be an early one.         Today I have a super easy card for you that I made for the Freshly Made Sketches Challenge Blog .  This is Challenge No. 328 and this is the sketch I had to work with -  I have wanted to use this Teddy Bear stamp from Anthony's Paper Craft for the longest time and this sketch is just perfect for it.  And so easy! I started with my white card base and adhered a piece of navy blue cardstock...

If You Give A Crafter A Cookie - Challenge 89 - Music

Image
Hello hello hello everyone!!  So has everyone in the States starting to see even a hint of Spring yet?  We are still super hot here heading into Fall but I am not going to complain!   I've been really busy lately helping Ruy with the photo club that he and his BFF, Bruna, started here in town.  They have almost 25 members so far, many of which are showing their photo in the club's 3rd photo exhibition, the theme of which is about a strong woman (or women) that they admire.  This exhibition is being held in a cool restaurant/pub here in town that plays live music by local artists.  And they have the best burgers in town.  So I've been there a lot.  LOL Now for today's card, which I made for Challenge 89 over on the "If You Give A Crafter A Cookie" Challenge Blog , which is all about music. I have a friend here that is (a) going on a trip soon and (b) loves music.  So I decided to make a card for her that would incorp...

Hello crafty friends and innocent bystanders!!  I apologize for not having this blog post ready for when I promised but we got so busy here that I just could not find time to write this up.   Without further ado (LOL) - Welcome to Part 2 of "Quick and Easy Easter Cards" using stamps from Anthony's Paper Craft.  The other day I showed the first four cards with simple step by step directions.  If you missed that post you can check it out { HERE }.  Today I am giving easy tutorials for Cards 5 thru 8.  Hope you like them! Card 5 I started with a top folding A2 card base of white cardstock.  I adhered a piece of Easter themed paper to the front.  Then I cut a piece of white cardstock, 3" x 4", and stamped the Chocolate Bunny  and the "Happy Easter" sentiment from Easter Set 1 both with Walnut Stain Distress Ink (Ranger) .   Next, I adhered the white cardstock to a piece of dark brown cardstock, 3.25" x 4.25", adh...
