Christmas Cards with Removable Ornaments | KCS Designs by Kim | Black Friday Sale

Image
Hello everyone.  I'm so excited to share this Christmas card idea with y'all.  Last week, when I was in town, I found packages of Christmas ornaments.  The ornaments are made from felt, are very light,  and as soon as I saw them, this idea popped into my head!  Here is a video on how I made the card: To make this card idea: I made a top-folding A2 card using red cardstock.   I printed one of the Christmas Gingham Journal Papers from KCS Designs by Kim  at 50% on white cardstock.   I die-cut it using a stitched rectangle die, adhered a piece of fun foam to the back, and then adhered it to my card front.   Using the two sides of velcro, I added one sticker to the back of the felt ornament, then the other side to the card front, and added the ornament to the card front.    I printed one of the sentiments from the Christmas Word Snippets set, trimmed it, layered it on a piece of red cardstock, and then to the card front...

The Crafty Elves Countdown to Christmas | November 2025 Edition | Sending Winter Wishes

Image
Hello everyone, and welcome to the November 2025 Edition of the Crafty Elves Countdown to Christmas with  Deb  and  Lisa  - otherwise known as The Crafty Elves . On the 25th of each month, we (the Crafty Elves) post one or more holiday cards in hopes that we inspire you to start  making your own.  This way, come December, we have cards ready to mail or to give to people during the holidays.              For this month's card, I used a wood-mounted rubber stamp from The Artful Stamper that has been in my stash for a long time.  This is one of those stamps that I just cannot give up using.  Although this company went out of business several years ago, I bet you have a stamp in your stash that you can use in place of the one I used.   To make this card idea: I made a top-folding A2 card using white cardstock.   I cut a piece of white cardstock, embossed it with an embossing folder, adhered it to ...
