Thank You Card with Frantic Stamper and Gina Marie Designs

Hello everyone!  I hope everyone's week is going well so far.  It's almost over and, for a lot of you, I guess you have a 4 day weekend!  Today's card is for a special lady in the states who really helped me out big time.  My friend Debora sent me a photo of a piece of cardstock that had been embossed and she wanted to know if I could get the embossing folder for her.  Her friend had bought it through a Facebook group but had thrown out the packaging so I had no brand to work with.  I spent many hours searching to no avail.

I put the photo on my own Facebook page and on the Stamping Enablers group on Facebook (a great group to join by the way).  Finally, after 2 days, a lady named Jill came through for me with the brand and name.  My other friend Sue found some on Amazon and swooped them up for me.  Phew!!

So, for helping me out big time, this card is for Jill!!  Thanks again Jill!

I started with a side folding A2 card base of purple cardstock, a piece of decorative paper, 4" x 5.25", called Amor Perfeito by Arte Facil Artesanato,  a Brasilian paper company, Lattice Oval Frame die by Frantic Stamper cut from the same purple cardstock, and the words "Thank" and "You" from Brush Script Thank You dies by Gina Marie Designs, cut 3 times from the same purple cardstock.

Next I distress the edges of the decorative paper with Vintage Photo Distress Ink, adhered it to the card front, and then, using a spray glue, I adhered the Lattice Oval Frame over the paper.  There was some glue residue that I removed with my Adhesive Remover (a great tool to have).

Next I glued the 3 "Thank" and "You" words together so that they would be 3 layers thick and pop off the page.  I used Multi Matte Medium since the glue dries clear.

Lastly, I adhered the words to the center oval section, then a few paper flowers on the side, a small pearl in each corner, and some Wink of Stella Clear Brush Pen over the words to give them a shimmer.

Close-up of the center section of card.
Here is the full front of the card -

That's it.  Really came out nice and was quick to make.  I hope you guys enjoy this card and I really hope Jill loves it - when she finally gets it.  LOL.  Feel free to leave a comment below with your thoughts and....until next time....

Hugs from Brasil -

Michael
