Square Wreath Christmas Cards | Fast and Easy to Make | KCS Designs by Kim DT Project

Hello everyone.  I needed to make a few quick Christmas cards today.  I wanted to make square cards, and I had an idea in my head that included wreaths with a sentiment in the center.  I used images from the Christmas Clip Art digital collection from KCS Designs by Kim to make the cards.  I love how they turned out.

Let me show you what I did.

First, I made a 5.25" square card using white cardstock.

Then I cut a piece of white cardstock, embossed it with the Deck Planks 3D embossing folder from Altenew, adhered a piece of white fun foam to the back, and then adhered it to the card front.

Using the Christmas Clip Art Collection from KCS Designs by Kim on Etsy, I printed the holly leaves image 16 times on a sheet of white cardstock, and used my Scan N Cut to cut the images with a small border.

The next part is optional, but I liked how it worked out for me and for the card.  I taped the 2 largest circle dies together and die-cut 6 pieces of white cardstock from my scrap box.  Then I glued them together and adhered them to the center of the card front.

I did this so it would be easier to glue and align the images correctly, and it also raised them up off the card, giving a nice 3D dimension to the card front.

Using the Christmas Clip Art Collection from KCS Designs by Kim on Etsy, I printed 16 holly leaf images on a sheet of white cardstock.  Then I used my Scan N Cut to cut the images with a small border.  They cut perfectly.

Yes, I know my Scan N Cut is a much older model, and yes, I know I need to clean my cutting mat.  :-)

Using white glue, I adhered the holly leaves around the white cardstock circle.

I printed one of the sentiments from the Christmas Flair Buttons Collection from KCS Designs by Kim on Etsy at 125%.  There are 24 sentiments, and I am sure you will find one to fit your card needs!

Using a circle die, I die-cut the sentiment, and I also die-cut 5 more pieces using white cardstock scraps.

I glued the white circles together, then glued the sentiment on the top, then I adhered it to the center of the card.  The last thing I did was to add Diamond Glaze to the top of the sentiment, Red Pearl Pen drops to the berries, and set it aside to fully dry

Another image in the Christmas Clip Art Collection is mistletoe leaves and berries and it's also perfect for this card.  Again, I printed 16 images on a sheet of white cardstock and used my Scan N Cut to cut the images with a small border.

And made this card.
