Masculine/Colorful Note Cards | KCS Designs by Kim | Altenew 3D Embossing Folders
Hello everyone. I've been making some really simple notecards lately using digital papers. Today I made some masculine/colorful notecards, and I wanted to share them with you. It's super simple and requires no stamps unless you want to use some for the sentiments.
- First, I printed several papers from the Gelli Plate Printing Papers digital kit from KCS Designs by Kim on Etsy. I printed 4 of the same image to each sheet of white cardstock, trimmed them, and die-cut them using a stitched circle die.
- Using the same stitched circle die, I die-cut 3 pieces of white fun foam, and adhered them to the back of each of the circle images.
- I made 3 top-folding A2 cards using white cardstock.
- I cut 3 pieces of white cardstock, 4.25" x 5.5", and embossed each of them using a different 3D embossing folder from Altenew - Deck Planks 3D, Cross Weaves 3D, and Illusion Triangles 3D (no longer available) - and I adhered one to each of the 3 card fronts.
- I adhered each of the die-cut circles to the card fronts, allowing them to hang off the front, and I trimmed the excess.
- I die-cut 3 of the sentiments from the Essential Sentiment Strips Die Set, also from Altenew, using white cardstock, layered them on a piece of dark blue, and adhered them to the card fronts.
- Lastly, I applied some glossy accents to parts of the card fronts and set them aside to fully dry. This gives some texture to the cards.
Here are the 3 individual cards.
What do you guys think of these cards? Would you send one to a friend? As I said, super simple to make. If you have sentiment stamps you love, you can use them in place of the sentiment dies I used.
