He Made It / She Made It | Halloween Cards | Mandy Ford Art Printables

Hello everyone!  Today, I am joining my friend Debra of Meticulosity for a brand new "He Made It / She Made It" collaboration.

For today's collab, we decided to use printables from Mandy Ford Art.  We agreed not to use the same printables.  The idea was that we would choose our own printables and then make a few cards with that printable.

There are so many fun printables in her Etsy shop that it was hard to decide on what to get.  In the end, being close to Halloween,
I decided to get the Spooky Season Printable Collection.  It's such a fun kit.  You get 6 patterned papers, some journaling cards dressed up as tarot cards, and 2 sticker sheets filled with fun digital images to cut out and use.

Card No. 1

  • I made a top-folding A2 card using black cardstock.  Then I adhered a piece of white cardstock, 4" x 5.25", to the inside for a message.
  • I die-cut one of the decorative papers using a 4" x 5.25" stitched rectangle die and adhered it to the card front.
  • I die-cut a piece of the orange graph paper, layered it on a piece of black cardstock, and then to the card front.
  • Lastly, I fussy cut some of the sticker/ephemera pieces - the books, a cup, and the 2 mushrooms - and adhered them to the orange graph paper using foam dots.

Card No. 2

  • I made a top-folding A2 card using orange cardstock.  Then I adhered a piece of white cardstock, 4" x 5.25", to the inside for a message.
  • I die-cut a piece of the grey graph paper using a 4" x 5.25" stitched rectangle die and adhered it to the card front.
  • I fussy cut one of the "tarot cards" or journaling cards, layered it on a piece of black cardstock, and then to the card front using foam dots.
  • Lastly, I fussy cut 4 of the stars and adhered them to the card front.

Card No. 3

  • I made a top-folding slimline card using black cardstock.  Then I adhered a piece of white cardstock, 3.25" x 8.25", to the inside for a message.
  • I die-cut a piece of the grey graph paper using a scallop slimline die, adhered a piece of fun foam to the back, and adhered it to the card front.
  • I printed the pages with the ghosts in two sizes.  Then I fussy cut 7 of the ghosts and adhered them along the front of the gray graph paper.
  • I made the sentiment on the computer, layered it on piece of orange cardstock, and adhered it to the card front using foam dots.
  • Lastly, even though Debra told me not to, I added googly eyes to all the ghosts.

It's time to see the amazing cards that Debra made, so please head over to her BLOG, or on her Instagram page.  Everything Debra and I used can be found in Mandy Ford Art's Etsy store

Thanks for stopping by the blog today.  I'd love to know what you think of all these ideas.  Do you have a favorite?  I love the slimline card but I love making them.  Until next time...

Hugs from Brasil.
