Crafty Elves Countdown to Christmas September 2025 Edition | Vintage Christmas | KCS Designs by Kim
Hello everyone, and welcome to the September 2025 Edition of the Crafty Elves Countdown to Christmas with Deb and Lisa. On the 25th of each month, we (the Crafty Elves) post one or more holiday cards in hopes that we inspire you to start making your own. This way, come November, we have cards ready to mail.
This month, I used one of the papers from the Holiday Nostalgia Christmas Journal Papers and a few of the words from Christmas Word Snippets - two digital kits from KCS Designs by Kim on Etsy.
To make this card:
- Using white cardstock, I made a top-folding A2 card base.
- I printed the deer image from the Holiday Nostalgia Christmas Journal kit at 52%, and die-cut it using a 4" x 5.25" stitched rectangle die.
- I adhered a piece of fun foam to the back of the deer image, and then I adhered it to the card front.
- I printed the Christmas Word Snippets on white cardstock, trimmed the names of the eight reindeer, and layered them on white cardstock banners. I then adhered them to the right side of the image.
- Lastly, I die-cut the Wishing You a Merry Christmas sentiment, layered it on a white banner, and adhered it to the inside of the card.
I hope you have enjoyed this quick and simple Vintage Christmas card idea. Don't forget to visit the other Crafty Elves and see what they made. All our social media links are below.
