Hello everyone.   This is a short post celebrating Wednesday Addams and Halloween.  

I am a huge Wednesday Addams fan, and I'm happy that the 2nd season of Wednesday returns tonight.   The other day, I was working on some Halloween cards using the Tangled Souls Journal Papers from KCS Designs by Kim, and I realized that one of the papers in the collection looked like Wednesday Addams.  I had to make a few cards using this image.  And, since she is known for her morbid wit and detached demeanor, I wanted to use some of her quotes on the cards too.  

All 3 cards use the same image - doesn't she look like Wednesday?  One of the cards has a simple Happy Halloween sentiment on the front, and the other two use quotes I found that could be used on a Halloween card.
  


This card uses a simple Happy Halloween sentiment
on the front of the card ,and inside is blank for a message.   



This card uses her quote
"I'm not in a bad mood; this is just how I look."
on the front, and Happy Halloween on the inside. 




This card uses her 
"I don't bury hatchets.  I sharpen them."
quote on the front, and Happy Halloween on the inside.

    OMG our great-granddaughter loves Wednesday, and we just got her a Wednesday doll for her birthday! Now I can make her a matching Wednesday birthday card to go with her gift! Thank you, thank you!

BLOG CANDY STENCILS!!! BLOG CANDY STENCILS!!!!!

**Blog Candy Update!!  -  I have a few more items to my Blog Candy -  A 6x6 StencilGirl Stencil called  Bird In Window by Pam Carriker, a box of Brasilian chocolates, a Brasilian Scrapbooking magazine called Guia do Scrapbooking, which means Guide to Scrapbooking.  It's in portuguese but you can get great ideas with the pictures and layouts they give.   And I have added a 6" x 6" Gelli Arts Gel Printing Plate!!!  --------------------------------------------- Hello everyone!  My first Blog Candy post!!  Long story short - in November, when StencilGirl had their big Black Friday sale, I placed an order.  Due to a glitch in their system (but in our favor) the same order was shipped to me - twice.  Since I did not pay for one of the orders, I emailed John at StencilGirl and he told me to keep them and offer them up as blog candy at a later date.  Hence....this BLOG CANDY post!!  All you have to do i...

Do You "STENDOODLE"?

A Bunch of Stendoodled Pieces I Made Have you ever gotten an idea and thought that it was going to be the next amazing thing in the paper crafting world?  The one no one else has ever thought of?  Well this happened on my recent trip back home to NYC.  I was not able to bring a lot of art materials home with me but I was able to squeeze into my luggage my tombow markers, some permanent markers, a bunch of stencils, and a Zentangle book.  I have always loved the look of Zentangling and I was determined to finish a full project by the end of this trip.   One night I traced the outline of the Blazonry stencil on some watercolor paper and then sat - for hours - trying to make many of the Zentangle designs in the book.  It did not look great.  It didn't even really look good.  I realized that this Zentangling was not as easy as it looked and that it probably takes a lot more practice than I was willing to give it on this trip.    ...
