Have a Brew-tiful Day Coffee Card | Pattie's Creations | KCS Designs By Kim
Hey everyone. As you know, I spend a lot of time on Etsy, and I recently came across a new store on Etsy called Pattie's Creations. She sells some of the cutest B&W digital images that are perfect for cardmakers and crafters. I have NO affiliation with this store - just sharing a good find with y'all.
The first time I visited her store, I ended up buying 3 digital images, but I plan to go visit again soon for a few more. One of the images I bought is called Cup and Saucer with Flowers, and it's the image on today's card. The first card I made was a cute and colorful one with a yellow coffee cup. But, just as I finished the card, I realized there were 2 creases, and my OCD forced me to remake it. LOL
| The first card I made. Notice the crease on the tulip and in the upper right corner. |
Below is a video I made showing how I made the card.
- First, I printed the Cup and Saucer image twice at 25% on white cardstock. One of the images I die-cut using a 3.75" x 5" stitched rectangle die. The other, I fussy-cut the 4 large flowers.
- I colored the full image and the 4 flowers using markers from my stash.
- I made a top-folding A2 card using white cardstock, and I adhered a piece of decorative paper from a paper pad in my stash.
- I layered my colored image on a piece of orange cardstock, then I adhered a piece of fun foam to the back of the orange cardstock, and then I adhered it to my card front.
- I printed one of the sentiments from the Word Snippets Coffee Phrases, from KCS Designs by Kim, also on Etsy, layered it on a piece of yellow cardstock, then orange, then the card front.
- I applied white glue to the center of the 3 fussy-cut flowers, and placed yellow seed beads on top. Once dry, the glue will be clear, and the beads will not move.
Make sure to use a glue that will dry clear, or use Glossy Accents or Diamond Glaze.
