Fun Snarky Cards For Women | KCS Designs by Kim | A Perfect Time To Craft Card Challenge
Hey everyone. A "snarky" friend of mine asked me to make her some "snarky" cards for some of her girlfriends. She wanted them to be pretty and feminine with a "snarky" sentiment. I gave her one of Tim Holtz' Small Talk Snarky sticker packs, asked her to pick her two favorite sentiments, and then I made these two cards, which are so easy and fast to make!!
- I started by printing two images from the Electric Daydreams Journal Papers from KCS Designs by Kim, and then die-cutting them using a 4" x 5.25" stitched rectangle die. These are very bright and whimsical images. If these are too bright for your taste, you can also go with the Soft Daydreams Whimsical Papers, which also have great faces to use with sentiments.
- I made 2 top-folding A2 card bases using purple and green cardstock to match the images. Then I die-cut two pieces of white cardstock using the same stitched rectangle die.
- I cut two pieces of black fun foam, adhered them to the back of each printed image, and then adhered them to the card fronts. I also adhered the white cardstock to the inside of each card where a message can be written.
- Using a stitched banner die, I cut two pieces for the backs of each of the sentiment strips, and I adhered each of the "snarky" sentiments to them.
- Lastly, I adhered one of the sentiments to each card front.
DONE! I hope you have enjoyed these two "snarky" card ideas. My friend loves them!
I'm also entering these cards in the May "A Perfect Time To Craft Card Challenge Blog". Their theme is always "anything goes". If you make a card, try to enter it in their challenge too.
