  Hello everyone, and welcome to the March 2025 Edition of the Crafty Elves Countdown to Christmas with  Deb  and  Lisa .  If you are new here, on the 25th of each month, we post one or more holiday cards.  This way, come November, we don't have to stress over making cards to send to people.  We hope to inspire you, and we hope you will join us.           This month, I made 2 cards and 2 tags using the Festive Greenery Builder Stencil Set from Altenew , some ink pads from Gina K Designs , and holiday sentiments.  Easy peasy.  This Festive Greenery Builder Stencil Set is so easy to use.  It has 3 layers, each clearly numbered.  Since I don't have any ink pads from Altenew, I used 3 colors from Gina K Designs: Red Velvet for the first layer, the berries; Lucky Clover for the 2nd layer, the leaves; and Christmas Pine for the 3rd layer, the stems.       To make each of the sten...

Hello, everyone.  I'm so happy today because  Deanne Saunders and I are both guest designers on the March Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenge .  This month's theme is "Green".   To make these cards: I made 2 top-folding A2 cards using red cardstock to which I adhered some strips of leftover Christmas paper from my stash.     I printed the 2 Christmas cup images at 120%.  Then I colored and fussy cut them.  I also printed the sentiments.  The cups and sentiment are from the Christmas Joy Mugs  digital stamp kit from Angie Blom Digital Designs .    I embossed 2 pieces of white cardstock using 2 different embossing folders - Christmas Wishes from Crafter's Companion and Mosaic Triangles from Sunlit.   Before adhering the sentiments to the cards, I applied Glossy Accents to the lightbulbs and red and green sprinkles to the whipped cream, which came from Heart With Rainbow Sprinkles from Dress My Craft....

Hello everyone.  A recipe post is not typical for my blog, even though I LOVE to cook, too.  Today, I am sharing my recipe for homemade croutons or crouton dipper sticks, as I call them.  They are delish dipping into homemade pesto too.  It's the same recipe for both.  The only difference is how you cut the bread.   Here's the back story: We had a BBQ last weekend and one of our friends was bringing her homemade garlic dip.  But we had nothing to use with the dip.  We went to the supermarket looking at different ideas - crackers or toast, when I got the idea to use my crouton recipe to make these Crouton Dipper Sticks.   Olá a todos. Uma postagem de receita não é típica do meu blog, embora eu AME cozinhar também. Hoje, estou compartilhando minha receita de croutons caseiros ou palitos de croutons, como eu os chamo. É a mesma receita para ambos. A única diferença é como você corta o pão.   Aqui está a história de fundo: Fizemos um churrasco no último final de semana e uma das nossas amigas estava trazendo seu molho de alho caseiro. Mas não tínhamos nada para usar com o molho.
