Hello everyone and welcome to the May 2023 Crafty Elves Countdown to Christmas collaboration that I do with some other Crafty Elves - Elf Debra of Meticulosity , Elf Lisa of Life of a BZScrapper , and Elf Misty of The Jolly Fat Elf  and, this month, we have a Guest Crafty Elf - Elf AJ of Art Cards with AJ .   Hello everyone and welcome to Week 4 of my Equality For All / Pride 2023 Makers Collaboration that I am doing with Misty a/k/a The Jolly Fat.  Another week, another batch of unfair laws and odd news directly affecting the LGBT+ community.  It's mindblowing.  First - Pope Francis told Jesuits in Hungary, that sexual abusers (probably Priests) are disgusting "enemies" who deserve to be condemned and punished - but also deserve Christian love because they are also children of God.  Tell that to the people the abusers abused.  Insane! Second - This past Tuesday, the Louisiana House advanced its own "Don't Say Gay" bill, which would ban teachers from discussing sexual orientation or gender identity in K-12 public schools.  Now, personally, I don't think this topic comes up much in K-3rd grade but, by the time a kid is in Junior or High School, they know if they are gay and probably have gay friends.  Imagine not being able to say you are straight....
