Colorful Coffee Cards Three Ways with Anthony's Paper Craft

Hello everyone.  Today I have 3 cards using the same stamp set - Coffee 2 from Anthony's Paper Craft.  I think it's great to get lots of cards from one stamp set and this is one of them.  OK, the 3 cards are different, yet similar, and I did use the same "to go" image on each of the cards, but it's so easy to color and cut out.  LOL

Each of the cards is a top folding 5.25" square card.

For the first card, I started with my card base, a piece of white cardstock cut to 4.5" square, a piece of white fun foam 4.25" square, a piece of dark brown cardstock 1.5" x 4.5", and some coffee bean washi tape I had in my stash.

Next, I adhered the strip of brown cardstock to the front of the white square, ran the washi tape along the top and bottom of the brown cardstock, adhered the fun foam to the back, and then I adhered this to the card front.

Then I stamped the small "to go" cup from Coffee 2 from Anthony's Paper Craft - several times - colored them in some bright colors using my BIC Fine markers, and then fussy cut them.  Easy images to fussy cut.  I put some foam tape/pop-dots behind each of them, adhered them to the card front, and then adhered a sentiment from one of my many sticker packs in my stash.

This card I am entering two card challenge blogs - the Less is More Challenge Blog because the theme this week is "beverages" and this card is CAS.

And in the Casology Challenge Blog because this week the theme is color.

For the second card, I adhered a piece of decorative paper to the card front.  It's from the digital Coffee paper pad by Echo Park. I then adhered the brown strip vertically, adhered 4 of the coffee cups and the sentiment along the left side.

For the third card, I pretty much did the same as the first card but I adhered the white cardstock to a piece of brown cardstock, to match the strip, and I used stickles on each of the cups to give some shimmer.

I hope you enjoyed these 3 card ideas.  I would love to know which one you think is best.  I love them all but, I am biased.  But I do love reading your comments.

Until next time -

Hugs from Brasil -

Coffee Lovers Blog Hop With Gracielle Design Digital Stamps

Hello everyone.  I made another card for the Spring|Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop, which is still going strong but ends tomorrow.

Actually, I made a few coffee cards but I posted them over on my Instagram account.  If you would like to see them follow me there, just click HERE.

For today's card, I am using two digi stamp sets, Stay Strong and Sweetness, and some a digital paper pad called Blue & Pink Watercolored, all from Gracielle Design.  I liked the flowers from one set and the coffee to go cup from the other and decided to make a new image.

I started with a top folding A2 card base of white cardstock on which I adhered one of the design pages from the paper pad.  Sadly, you won't see much of the paper but I liked it behind the main image.

Next, I printed the two digital images, 4 times on a sheet of A4 white cardstock.  The Heart Frappuccino image from Stay Strong, which I printed at 105%, and the Ice Cream Bouquet from Sweetness, which I printed at 90%.

Then, using a stitched rectangle die that measures 4" x 5.25", I cute one of the Ice Cream Bouquets.

I also fussy cut one of the cups from the Heart Frappuccino image.  I also ran a black marker around the image to cover any white cardstock showing.

Next is the tricky part.  Using an x-acto knife and a pair of fine tip scissors, I cut the section between the ice cream cone and the flowers.  The idea is that the cup will slide under so the flowers will be coming out of the cup.  Not that there is anything wrong with the cone but I wanted the flowers sitting in the "to go" cup.

When I had enough room, I slid the cup from behind the flowers until I got it positioned where I wanted it and then I adhered it down.

Now...I had photos for the next few steps but the files did not transfer over correctly and I was not able to use them.  But the rest is easy to follow.

I colored in the flowers and the cup with my BIC markers.  I printed out the sentiment I wanted and die cut it using a fishtail die.  I adhered it with pop dots and then cut the heart from another image and adhered that over the heart in the cup.

The final thing was to apply some stickles, lightly, over the image and allow them to dry.  I also added 3 round pink sequins to the card front.

And here is the final card again.

It was fun to mix and match the two set and I really love how the new image looks.  Hmmm, I wonder if Gracielle will like it too.  LOL   I'd love to know what you think so please leave me a comment below if you would like.

As always, until next time, hugs from Brasil!

3 Vintage Style Coffee Cards with Anthony's Paper Craft and the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop

Hello everyone!!  The 2019 Spring|Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop is in full swing!!

And Anthony's Paper Craft has a new set of vintage style stamps called Coffee 2.  Since I am on his design team, I thought it was a good time to push myself out of my comfort zone.  In the end, I made 3 vintage/coffee/masculine cards that I am really happy with!!  And I hope you like them too.

Not knowing which image(s) would talk to me, I started by putting all the images into my Misti and stamping them on to a piece of white cardstock and, then, cutting them out with my Scan N Cut.  I decided to give them a border since it's easier to cut a border than to add one!

I wanted the images against a more rustic/vintage type of background and I went searching thru my digital paper files.  I found a pad called Barista, by Basic Grey,  that had a cool wood grain pattern and another of burlap.  So I printed them on to A4 white cardstock.

For the first card, I made the sentiment on my computer, printed it onto white cardstock, and then used a stitched rectangle to cut out the area I wanted to use.  I then colored in two of the images using BIC Fine Markers, put pop-dots behind them and adhered them next to the sentiment.  I layered this on to a piece of red cardstock and then onto the card front over the burlap digital paper.  A few sequins and I was done!

For the 2nd and 3rd cards, I started with top folding A2 card bases to which I adhered the digital papers - one with the wood grain and the other with the burlap again.   I also used two stitched rectangle dies to cut a piece of white cardstock and a piece of brown cardstock for each card front.

For the card with the burlap background, I decided to stamp the sack of coffee beans in the lower right corner, then I fussy cut the grinder and adhered it above the sack of beans, fussy cut the coffee label and adhered it with a pop-dot and then I adhered the "Adventure Awaits", which is a Tim Holtz quote chip, along the bottom.  I used Tombow markers (942, 969, 992, 620, and N60) to color in all the images.

For the 3rd card, the one with the wood grain background, I used some of the other images to also give a masculine/vintage feel - but with some color this time.  I used some old Prismacolor markers to color in the cup and the coffee beans.

I'd love to know which card you like the best.  I love the last card the best but that's probably because of the colors popping off the card.

I hope you check out the blog hop and the amazing coffee cards over on the Coffee Loving Cardmaker's site as well as the coffee images over on Anthony's Paper Craft.

Until next time....hugs from Brasil!!
